Truth Always Rests With the Minority
January 14, 2021
I feel that I have condemned the Republican Party justifiably over the past few months and validly questioned them for years. I have longed for an alternative party. I call myself a Constitutional Conservative, and openly did so while running for state representative on the Republican ticket; on social media, my website and in person. I can’t count the number of times I have said, written or referenced the John Adams quote regarding the evils of a two party system. In fact, I recently wrote a piece titled Where Are Trumpers To Go? which I think is a valid question. In that piece I am pushing for something different, but it is a ghost of an idea, not fully formed. I would love to be able to say a third party, I desperately want to give that answer and it pains me greatly that I can’t. But there isn’t time! To quote Steve Deace, a man for whom I have a lot of respect, “it is time for truth, though it is not the truth I would prefer”, we simply don’t have time to build a viable third party to grow it and build it in a manner that would have a true and viable impact. Argh! That hurts to even type!
I firmly believe that Conservatives, Trumpers, and Patriots are being lured into situations where violence can be placed at their feet. I believe it is very possible that they are being baited into attempting to form a third party based around Trump. This I am afraid would be a doomed venture. But why would they bait us do that? Well the answer is to make our voices irrelevant.
So, what are we to do? We, who are frustrated with a party, the Republican Party whose higher ups, whose leadership dislikes us - no despises us; who joke about our intelligence, the activities we enjoy and the lives we lead; leadership at all levels that doesn’t give one iota regarding our opinions.
At the risk of throwing up a bit I must say that we have to stay with the Republican Party.
However, to stay with the Republican Party doesn’t mean to sit back and take there BS! We must call out the leadership and elected officials when they do wrong, from the state level on up. We must vote out those who do not hold the values of the Constitution! We must find people to run against those who do wrong! Do not allow the party leadership to simply find a warm RINO body to fill a hole in the ballot! Run if you must, primary a RINO if you must! At very least support to the hilt a candidate that holds your values. If your candidate doesn’t win the primary, by all means let the democrat win! Yes, I said it! Letting a RINO into office that is going to vote wrong is worse in the end! The Republican establishment is not going to want the Republican, Rino or not to be primaries. The person (RINO) now has name recognition and it is easier for them to be re-elected! So do not back them out of fear! We simply must stop backing candidates under the premise of the lesser of two evils! Where has that gotten us? Nowhere!
We can, we the public, we the non-leadership non-high up muckety mucks can take the Republican Party over. We Constitutionalists and Trumpers can be a minority in the Republican Party until we become the majority! Indeed Patriots have always been in the minority but have repeatedly won the day!
“Truth always rests with the minority, and the minority is always stronger than the majority,
because the minority is generally formed by those who really have an opinion,
while the strength of a majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion —
and who, therefore, in the next instant (when it is evident that the minority is the stronger)
assume its opinion… while truth again reverts to a new minority.”
